After Corona, the world is facing the threat of Monkeypox. This virus has started spreading from Africa to other countries, due to which the World Health Organization has declared an emergency. In view of this, the Central Government has issued a high alert to all the states. In view of this, Nagpur is also on high alert.
Nagpur Municipal Corporation has ordered to check the passengers coming from abroad at the airport. Along with this, beds have been reserved in Mayo-GMCH
After the alert from the Center, the State Health Department held an online meeting with the heads of all the government medical colleges and hospitals in the state on Tuesday. In the meeting, everyone was instructed to strictly follow the instructions issued regarding monkeypox. Not only this, instructions have also been given to keep beds reserved for patients in all hospitals during the time of emergency.
