An Indigo flight from Bangalore to Patna made an emergency landing at Nagpur Airport on Friday after a passenger, Ingith Prashant, suffered a severe medical emergency mid-flight. Displaying symptoms of a seizure, including severe shaking and loss of consciousness, Prashant was quickly taken to KIMS-Kingsway Hospitals for treatment.
Dr. Rupesh Bokade, Consultant in Emergency Medicine, diagnosed Prashant with a seizure disorder and recommended further tests, including an MRI. Prashant is currently under close observation.
KIMS-Kingsway Hospitals commended the Indigo crew for their prompt actions, which ensured timely medical intervention.
