A venomous cobra was discovered in the student meeting room at KDK College, Nandanvan, on Wednesday, August 28, at approximately 1 p.m. The Wildlife Welfare Society’s member, Sahil Sharanagat, received a call informing him that a snake had entered the room through a window. Sahil immediately notified fellow society member Nitish Bhandakkar, who rushed to the scene.
Upon arrival, Nitish found a 3-foot-long cobra hiding beneath a bench. The snake was carefully captured and later released safely into the wild. Students present at the time recounted that they were about to enter the room for a meeting when the snake was spotted, averting a potentially dangerous situation.
