Psychiatrist Dr Harkishan Mamtani will be honoured with the Overseas Bursary Award by the Neuropsychiatry Faculty of the Royal College of Psychiatrists. This accolade recognises his significant contributions to the field of neuropsychiatry and will support his participation in the upcoming conference scheduled at the Royal College of Psychiatrists in London. At the conference, Dr. Harkishan will present his research on psychogenic non-epileptic seizures.
Dr Harkishan, who completed his MD and postdoctoral fellowship in neuropsychiatry from the esteemed NIMHANS in Bengaluru, has also earned the prestigious MRCPsych from the UK. His extensive research work, with over 25 papers published in both national and international journals, underscores his expertise and dedication to the field. Earlier this year, he was awarded the “Young Investigator Award” in Turkey by the World Federation of Societies of Biological Psychiatry.
His clinical practice spans a wide range of mental health issues, including depression, anxiety disorders, OCD, schizophrenia, addictive disorders, and sexual disorders. He provides his expert care at Manoved situated in both Ramdaspeth and Jaripatka in Nagpur.
