Central Railway’s Nagpur Division has planned a significant traffic and power block at Ajni Station to facilitate station redevelopment work. As part of this project, Platform No. 2 and 3 at Ajni Station will remain closed for a period of 90 days from 12 September 2024.
Impact on Train Operations:
Trains departing from Nagpur towards Sevagram and Wardha will not halt at Ajni Station during this period.
Trains coming towards Nagpur will halt at Ajni Platform No. 1 as per the regular schedule.
Ajni Platform No. 1 will remain fully operational throughout the block period.
Changes in Train Originating/Terminating Stations:
The following trains will originate and terminate at Nagpur Station instead of Ajni Station during the block period:
Train No. 12120/12119 Ajni – Amravati – Ajni Express (Daily)
Train No. 22124/22123 Ajni – Pune – Ajni Express (Tuesday and Saturday)
Train No. 22140/22139 Ajni – Pune – Ajni Express (Sunday)
Trains that will not Halt at Ajni Station:
The following 8 trains will not halt at Ajni Station during the block period:
Train No. 11040 Maharashtra Express (Daily)
Train No. 11403 Nagpur – Kolhapur Express (Tuesday, Saturday)
Train No. 12106 Gondia – CSMT Vidarbha Express (Daily)
Train No. 12136 Nagpur – Pune Express (Monday, Wednesday, Saturday)
Train No. 12114 Nagpur – Pune Garibrath Express (Tuesday, Friday, Sunday)
Train No. 12140 Nagpur – CSMT Sevagram Express (Daily)
Train No. 01374 Nagpur – Wardha MEMU (Except Sunday)
Train No. 18030 Shalimar – LTT Express (Daily)
Passengers are requested to board the above train from Nagpur only not from Ajni.
