Ag Enviro Infra Projects Pvt. Ltd., in collaboration with the Nagpur Municipal Corporation (NMC), launches a special waste management drive for Ganesh Chaturthi. This initiative aims to enhance environmental sustainability by managing festival waste efficiently and promoting responsible disposal practices across five zones in the city.
To support a cleaner and greener Nagpur, several “Nirmalya Ratha” will be launched for the collection and recycling of festival waste along multiple city routes. These units will facilitate the proper disposal of dry waste and festival decorations, significantly reducing the environmental impact of the celebrations. The initiative aims to raise awareness about effective waste management and ensure Ganesh Chaturthi is celebrated in an eco-friendly manner.
Details of the Waste Management Drive:
Routes: Residents can drop off festival waste at the Nirmalya Ratha units in their area. These units will operate from September 7, 2024, to September 18, 2024.
Zones: The collection will be conducted in Laxmi Nagar, Dharmpeth, Hanuman Nagar, Dhantoli, and Nehru Nagar.
