The NCC camp officially commenced on September 1 and will run until September 10 at Arvind Indo Academy, Heti Surla Saoner. Colonel Vikas Chander Sharma, Commanding Officer of 20 Mah.Bn.NCC.Nagpur, delivered the inaugural address, emphasizing the crucial role of NCC cadets in national development.
Colonel Sharma outlined the diverse training activities scheduled for the 10-day camp, including drill, physical fitness, weapon training with range firing, cultural activities, sports, NDRF demonstrations, ZRO, TFC, police training, cyber security, tree plantation, drawing, painting, Ganpati sthapana, rangoli competitions, and various sports events such as volleyball, kabaddi, and tug-of-war.
The camp has attracted 431 NCO cadets from multiple educational institutions. The opening session was attended by A.C Colonel Manuj Mujumdar, SM Kundal Singh, Captain Dr. Subhas Dadhe, T/O Satish Madavi, T/O Mahesh Alan, and S/O Anjana Roy, along with seven JCOs, twelve NCOs, and one JCI from 20 Mah.Bn.NCC.Nagpur.
