Deep Foundation, in collaboration with Sengupta Hospital and Research Institute and Abhijit Realtors, will be organizing the second Pulse Marathon on Sunday.
The event, themed ‘Run for Prolonged Lives,’ will take place three distance categories.
Speaking at a press conference, Dr. Shantanu Sengupta shared that the event has received a huge response. “We have received over 1000 entries in three different cate- gories. The events will be held in 5 kms walk, 10 kms and 21 kms runs,” he informed.
“The races will be flagged off from MLA Hostel, Civil Lines at 5:45 am by Nagpur Commissioner of Police Dr Ravinder Singal (IPS). On the occasion, Abjhijit Mujumdar, Rajat Kapoor, Ajay Kapoor will also remain present.” The run will end at the same venue. The prize distribution function will be held at the same venue.
Mitesh Rambhia will serve as the Race Director. “The 10 km and 21 km runs will feature RFID timing chips for accurate tracking. All participants will receive a timing certificate, finisher’s medal, Dri-Fit T-shirt, and refreshments,” he stated.
Dr. Sengupta also mentioned that the top three male and female finishers will receive prizes. Vaishali Hadge, Shubham Mahant, and Shrikant Tapse were also present at the press conference.
