The city is bustling with Ganesh Utsav celebrations as Lord Ganapati idols are prominently displayed at various locations, drawing large crowds to numerous Ganesh Utsav mandals. In response to the heightened activity, Maha Metro Rail Corporation has introduced a special lucky draw competition for metro passengers, running from September 10 to September 17.
With metro passenger numbers on the rise, Maha Metro aims to engage as many citizens as possible through this initiative. Lucky draw boxes have been set up at 10 Ganesh Utsav mandals and metro stations across the city. Passengers are invited to deposit their metro tickets into these boxes after their journey, provided it does not exceed 48 hours.
To participate, passengers must write their name and mobile number on the back of their ticket. Those using a Maha Card should include their card number, name, and mobile number on a separate piece of paper. For WhatsApp ticket users, a printed copy of the ticket with the name and mobile number should be submitted. MetroApp ticket holders must also provide a printed copy of their ticket along with their name and mobile number.
This initiative is part of Maha Metro’s efforts to connect with the community and celebrate Ganesh Utsav in a unique way.
