A National Buddhist Conference to deliberate on Buddhist literature and philosophy is being organised by Kavikulguru Kalidas Sanskrit University, Ramtek and Society for Buddhist Studies, Jammu from September 14 to 16. The conference will be held at KKSU premises, Ramtek.
More than 200 teachers, scholars, researchers, and students will present research papers during the conference. A discussion will also be held relating to the National Education Policy 2020 and Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of a developed India by 2047.
KKSU Vice-Chancellor Prof Hareram Tripathi will chair the inaugural function on September 14. President of the 24th Buddhist Conference and VC of Lal Bahadur Shastri National Sanskrit University Prof Muralidhar Pathak; Prof Arvind Jamkhedkar, VC of J J School of Arts, Mumbai; VC of Sanchi University of Buddhist Studies Prof Baidyanath Labh will be the guests of honour. The inaugural session will be followed by the technical sessions.
