The Senior Citizen Council of Nagpur District is hosting a free essay-writing competition for senior citizens aged 60 and above. Participants are invited to write a 750-word essay on the topic, “Jyeshtha Nagrik Chalvalit Maajhe Yogdaan” (My Contribution to the Senior Citizens’ Movement). The last date for submission is September 20, and essays must be sent by post to the Convener at Plot 56, Ulhasnagar, Manewada Square, PO Bhagwan Nagar, Nagpur-440027.
Senior citizens actively involved in various Jyeshtha Nagarik Mandals can share their experiences and the activities they have undertaken to promote social awareness and improve society. The prize distribution ceremony is scheduled for October 1, following a ‘Foot March’ at 10 a.m. at Udaynagar Garden, Nagpur.
