Samit Tong and V Nageshwari will lead Nagpur district boys and girls teams respectively in Maharashtra Junior State Athletics Championship to be held at Shiv Chhatrapati Krida Nagari, Balewadi in Pune from September 19 to 22.
The selection committee included Jitendra Ghordadeikar, Umakant Sangode, Gourav Mirase, Rohini Raut and Ramchandra Wani. Wani himself is the coach of the district team while Akshay Pal is manager of the team.
U-14 boys: Soumya Nakode, Yatarth Wandhare, Siddhesh Kshirsafar, Abhinav Tyagi, Kalpesh Kshirsagar and Harsh Dhoble.
U-14 girls: Himanshi Bawane, Mrunali Dhurde, Ananya Mangar, Ariya Choube, Vanshika Shriwas, Rushika Kardekar.
U-16 boys: Kaushik Choudhary, Rudra Patil, Liladhar Kawale, Bhavika Urkude, Shivaji Wankhede, Kundan Belekar, Harshal Kamble, Manas Kamble, Shivash Patel, Anshuman Rawat Vikrant Gupta, Mohammad Ansari, Parth Sawre, Takshak Bagde and Dhruv Thakre.
