Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate 1,000 Acharya Chanakya Skill Development Centers across Maharashtra on September 20, 2024, through a virtual event from Wardha. These centers, including 47 in Nagpur district, aim to provide youth with enhanced skill development opportunities.
The event, to be held at the Swavalambi School campus, will see PM Modi interacting with beneficiaries of the Vishwakarma Skill Development Scheme. The initiative aligns with the National Education Policy 2020, promoting vocational training and skill-based education.
Additionally, the Punyashlok Ahilyadevi Holkar Women Startup Scheme will be launched, celebrating women entrepreneurs. District Collector Dr. Vipin Itankar has urged college students to participate and benefit from these opportunities.
