As of this week, the horror-comedy *Stree 2* has raked in an impressive ₹586 crore at the Indian box office, highlighting its immense popularity with audiences. Starring Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao in lead roles, the film continues to draw crowds well into its fifth week of release.
The film’s daily collections have shown remarkable consistency, with weekend figures including ₹3.60 crore on Friday, ₹5.55 crore on Saturday, and ₹6.85 crore on Sunday. This was followed by ₹3.17 crore on Monday and ₹2.65 crore on Tuesday, further solidifying its box office success.
Stree 2 earned an impressive ₹453.60 crore net in its second week alone. Despite facing tough competition from new releases like Akshay Kumar’s *Khel Khel Mein* and John Abraham’s *Vedaa*, the film swiftly emerged as the audience’s favorite.
Directed by Amar Kaushik, Stree 2 has won over audiences with its captivating storyline and star-studded cameos from Varun Dhawan and Akshay Kumar, both of whom have been praised for their roles in the film.
The first installment, *Stree*, released in 2018, was already a huge success, setting high expectations for the sequel. However, *Stree 2* has not only met but exceeded those expectations, becoming a fan favorite across the country.
As the film approaches the ₹600 crore milestone, excitement continues to grow. Alongside Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao, the movie also features Pankaj Tripathi, Abhishek Banerjee, and Aparshakti Khurana in key roles.
