Nagpur Municipal Commissioner Dr. Abhijit Chaudhary will start the “Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam” campaign on Monday, September 23, at Air Force, Seminar Hills. The event will include Municipal Additional Commissioner Mrs. Aanchal Goyal, Additional Commissioner Mr. Ajay Charthankar, and other officials and staff.
This initiative is part of the “Swachhata Hi Seva 2024” campaign, which promotes ‘Self-Cleanliness – Cultural Cleanliness’ during the government’s two-week cleanliness drive. Dr. Abhijit Chaudhary urged everyone to take part and help make Nagpur a clean and beautiful green city.
On Monday, September 23, tree planting will take place at various locations across all ten zones as part of the “Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam” campaign. Commissioner Dr. Abhijit Chaudhary and Additional Commissioner Mrs. Aanchal Goyal will personally plant trees at Air Force, Seminar Hills. Other tree planting sites include the Officer’s Mess on Wardha Road, Police Training Center at RPTS Road in Laxmi Nagar, Dabha area, Manish Nagar Cement Road, and Bhandewadi. The municipal authority encourages citizens to join in large numbers for this initiative.
