In preparation for Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit on Friday, Nagpur City has been declared a ‘No Drone Zone.’ Commissioner of Police Dr. Ravinder Singal issued prohibitory orders, citing potential security threats from terrorist organizations targeting VVIPs.
The ban, enforced under Section 163 of the Bharatiya Nyay Sanhita, prohibits all forms of non-conventional aerial activities, including drones, remote-controlled aircraft, paragliders, and parachuting.
Police authorities have warned that violators will face strict action under Section 223 of the Bharatiya Nyay Sanhita. Citizens are urged to comply with the restrictions to ensure the safety of the Prime Minister and other visiting VVIPs.
