Dr Neeti Kapoor and Dr Ashish Badiye from the Government Institute of Forensic Sciences, Nagpur have been included in the top 2 percent top scientist list in the world for the second consecutive year.
The list is published by the Standford University Researchers and Elsevier. The latest list was published on September 16. Dr Kapoor and Dr Badiye are among the 5351 researchers/ scientists from India who are included in the list.
The two rankled fourth and fifth in the country and are experts in ‘Legal and Forensic Medicine’.
Dr Neeti holds 20578 Scopus citations with an h-index of 30. Dr Badiye has 21945 Scopus citations with an h-index of 35.
The 2 percent World Scientists List ranks are based on a composite score (C-Score) calculated using multiple factors including total citations, h-Index, co-authorship-adjusted hm-Index, and citations to papers as a single or legal author.
