The Nagpur traffic police have implemented a new traffic regulation for five days to alleviate congestion on Wardha Road. Commuters will not be able to make a right turn from Ajni Chowk to Moris College T Point. These guidelines will be in effect from September 23 to 28.
Archit Chandak, Deputy Commissioner of the Traffic Department, has issued a notification in this regard. Chandak stated that this decision is being taken on an experimental basis, and if the traffic congestion on Wardha Road can be resolved, these guidelines will remain in place.
New traffic arrangements
1) Vehicles coming from Morris College T-point will proceed to Ajni Square without any diversions at Rahate Colony Square or Kriplani Square.
2) Vehicles coming from Ajni Square will move towards Morris College T- point without any diversions at Kriplani Square or Rahate Colony Square.
3) Vehicles coming from Mata Kacheri towards Kriplani Square will be diverted at Mata Kacheri. These vehicles will proceed to NEERIT-point, take a left turn towards Ajni Square, and then make a U-turn towards Manish Nagar flyover.
4) Vehicles coming from Ajni flyover or Congress Nagar T-point will make a II- turn at Kriplani Square and Ajni Square
5) Traffic signals at Rahate Colony Square to Ajni Square will be set to blinker mod during peak hours
