Tanvi Mendhe has been appointed captain of the 16-member Vidarbha squad that will compete in the U-19 Women’s Group ‘B’ (T20) League, organized by the BCCI. The tournament will be held in Lahli, Haryana, from October 1 to 8.
The Vidarbha Cricket Association’s (VCA) women’s selection panel, led by Nilima Sonkamble as chairman, along with Aparna Saha and Seema Katakwar, also announced four stand-by players for the upcoming competition.
Vidarbha will open their campaign against Andhra on October 1, followed by matches against Tamil Nadu (October 2), Chandigarh (October 4), Nagaland (October 6), and Saurashtra (October 8).
