Nagpur Metro passengers were confused as the Hinga-Sitabuldi Metro Train failed to move beyond Shankar Nagar on Tuesday noon.
Although another train was arranged and the passengers were shifted for further journey, the much-hyped train facility was adversely affected.
The train stopped before its entry into the Shankar Nagar station and the non-functional train was shifted safely.
Technical problems in the train has been stated to be the reason for abrupt stoppage near Shankar Nagar station. Earlier too the Metro services were affected due to technical reasons or due to electric supply failure.
As many as nine upline ferries from Sitabuldi to Lokmany Nagar, Hingna road, and six downline from Lokmanya Nagar to Sitabuldi were cancelled.
The technical fault occurred around 2.25 pm today, the Metro authorities informed The Live Nagpur.
