In a successful recovery operation, Gittikhadan Police returned 40 mobile phones to their rightful owners on Wednesday, September 25. The operation was conducted under the supervision of Deputy Commissioner of Police (Zone 2) Rahul Madane and Assistant Commissioner of Police (Sadar Division) Sunita Meshram.
The initiative was spearheaded by Senior Police Inspector Kailash Deshmane, along with PI Crime Jitendra Bobde, and other police personnel, including Gaibi Nagare, Kamlesh Shahu, and Vikram Thakur from the office of DCP Zone 2.
The recovered mobile phones, valued at approximately ₹7.6 lakh, were tracked from multiple locations across the country, including West Bengal, Nagpur, Haryana, Wardha, and Kolkata. Police efforts were instrumental in ensuring the return of the phones to their respective owners.
