The inclusion of the ‘Chalo’ app in Nagpur Municipal Corporation’s transport service has made many things easier for passengers. In terms of administration, control has become much easier. Mobility Pvt. Ltd. Senior Vice President Arun Gidroniya claimed that the transport service has been streamlined due to the ‘Chalo’ app.
Arun Gidroniya told the reporters that because of the ‘real time monitoring’ on the ‘Chalo’ app, the passengers get information about the arrival time of the bus. Apart from this, the information about the seats in the bus is also available from the app. Arun Gidroniya said that online passes, online bus tracking, online bus ticketing and UPI facility of ticketing saves a lot of time for passengers. He also said that due to the digital system, control can also be streamlined in terms of administration.
‘Chalo’ app has been integrated into ‘Apali Bus’ service in Nagpur city since last four months. In these four months, over 40,000 passengers in Nagpur city have downloaded Chalo app.
The number of passengers has increased and the revenue has also increased. He said that the adoption of digital payment method for bus tickets has also increased in the last four months
