The vigilant efforts of the Nagpur Police have become more pronounced since Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) Archit Chandak took charge of the department. On Wednesday, September 25, the Nagpur Traffic Police issued challans amounting to ₹13.04 lakh as part of an ongoing campaign to improve traffic management and reduce violations across the city.
During the crackdown, a total of 1,941 traffic violators were penalized for breaking various traffic rules. The strict enforcement measures aim to ease traffic congestion and ensure road safety by encouraging compliance with traffic laws.
The Nagpur Traffic Police have stated that this operation will continue in the coming weeks. They have urged citizens to adhere to traffic regulations and to carry all necessary documents while traveling to avoid penalties.
This move is part of a broader strategy initiated by DCP Archit Chandak to curb traffic violations and improve overall road safety in Nagpur.
