In observance of Mahatma Gandhi Jayanti on October 2, 2024 and Ghatsthapana on October 3, 2024, all slaughterhouses and meat-selling shops in the city will remain closed. This directive has been issued by Dr. Gajendra Mahalle, Director of the Solid Waste Management Department and Deputy Commissioner of the Municipal Corporation.
This decision has been made in accordance with the approved resolution from the general meeting of the Nagpur Municipal Corporation held on September 2, 2018, as per the approval given by the Municipal Commissioner on August 3, 2018. Those who violate this order will face action from the Municipal Corporation’s enforcement team.
