Bollywood actor Mithun Chakravarti will be honoured with the prestigious Dadasaheb Phalke Award.
Union Minister for Information and Broadcasting Ashvini Vaishnav informed through social; media that the award would be conferred upon Mithun during the 70th National Film Festival on October 8.
The jury of the Dadasaheb Phalke Award selected Mithun Chakravarti for the prestigious award, for his distinguished contribution to the Indian film industry.
