A brutal murder took place in Sudam Nagari, Ambazari, on September 30, where a 27-year-old man was killed during a heated argument. The victim, identified as Sagar Nakul Nagale, also known as Tuna, was attacked and killed near the Hanuman Temple in Pandhrabodi.
The Ambazari police have arrested three suspects in connection with the murder:
- Veer Vinod Thapa, 18, a laborer residing near Khobragade Kirana Store, Sudam Nagari.
- Ajit Santan Netam, 26, a painter and laborer residing near Shiv Temple, Sudam Nagari.
- Suresh Manohar Yadav, 25, a laborer residing near Khobragade Kirana Store, Sudam Nagari.
According to the police, the victim and the suspects were drinking alcohol at the residence of Bunty Devidas Uike in Sudam Nagari between 10:30 and 11:30 am. During the gathering, Sagar Nagale allegedly made claims about having an affair with the cousin of Veer Thapa, one of the suspects. Angered by these remarks, Veer Thapa picked up a cement block and struck Nagale on the head. The other two suspects, Ajit Netam and Suresh Yadav, joined Thapa and repeatedly hit the victim, leading to his death.
Upon learning of the incident, a team from the local crime branch and forensic experts arrived at the scene. The crime scene was secured, and the murder weapon was recovered. The body of the deceased was sent to a hospital for further examination.
