As the festival of Navratri began on Thursday, October 3, prominent political leaders from Maharashtra, including Nana Patole, President of the Maharashtra Pradesh Congress Committee (MPCC), and Chandrashekar Bawankule, State President of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), visited the revered Shri Mahalakshmi Jagdamba Mata temple at Koradi to seek blessings.
With the Maharashtra Legislative Elections slated for November, both leaders offered prayers at the temple, seeking divine blessings for the success of their respective parties. The Koradi Mandir, a significant religious site during Navratri, witnessed the symbolic visit as political campaigns across the state gather momentum.
The presence of Patole and Bawankule at the temple highlighted the convergence of politics and spirituality, as both leaders, despite their differing political affiliations, sought blessings during this crucial period, underscoring the role of faith in the lead-up to the elections.
