A disturbing video has emerged online, capturing a thief stealing a little girl’s mobile phone through a train window at night, sparking concerns about public transportation safety.
The viral footage captured on camera
The footage shows the thief hanging out of the train window, forcefully grabbing the young girl’s phone. Despite her frantic attempts to keep it, he successfully snatches the phone and flees. Another girl sitting across from her is left in shock, witnessing the thief’s swift escape.
The authenticity of the viral video, however, could not be independently verified by the media.
In the video, the distressed girl can be heard shouting, “Chhod mera phone” (leave my phone), and as the thief escapes, she exclaims, “Mera phone le gaya” (he took my phone). Unfortunately, it was too late. The entire incident was recorded and has since gone viral on social media platforms.
