After a season filled with twists, intense fights, and gripping moments, Bigg Boss Marathi Season 5 has come to an end, with social media influencer and actor Suraj Chavan crowned as the winner. Suraj took home the Bigg Boss trophy during the grand finale on Sunday evening. Singer Abhijeet Sawant finished as the first runner-up. The star-studded finale also saw special appearances by the cast of the upcoming film Jigra—Alia Bhatt, Vedang Raina, and director Vasan Bala.
Along with the prestigious title, Suraj won a prize package that included Rs 14.6 lakh in cash, a Rs 10 lakh jewellery voucher, and a two-wheeler. The other finalists—Nikki Tamboli, Dhananjay Powar, and Ankita Walawalkar—finished in third, fourth, and fifth places. In a surprising twist before the final announcement, Janhavi Killekar chose to leave the competition by taking a Rs 9 lakh cash prize, deciding to bow out before the final showdown.
Host Riteish Deshmukh shared the exciting moments on Instagram, posting photos with Suraj and Abhijeet. In one picture, he takes a selfie with Suraj, who proudly holds the Bigg Boss trophy, while Abhijeet joins in another photo.
