In a shocking incident a psychopath armed with a wooden rafter has killed two people on platform number 7 of Nagpur railway station. The unidentified man attacked a group of six to seven individuals, resulting in the death of two persons. The assault took place at approximately 3:30, leaving commuters in a state of panic. Two have been seriously injured in this attack.
Responding swiftly, personnel from the Railway Protection Force (RPF), Government Railway Police (GRP), and Nagpur Police rushed to the scene to secure the area and initiate an investigation.
The deceased passenger has been identified as Ganesh Kumar D-54 (Dindigul Tamil Nadu). The identity of the other deceased passenger is yet to be ascertained. The accused had fled from the spot. However, the employees chased the accused on the railway track.
The authorities are currently working to identify the attacker, with efforts focused on analyzing CCTV footage and gathering information from witnesses.
Security at the railway station has been heightened as the search for the suspect continues. The police are yet to confirm details about the identity of the deceased and the possible motives behind the attack.
