A 10-year-old girl, Prutha Akash Pandey, tragically lost her life in a hit-and-run accident near Padole Square, on October 8. The incident occurred at around 5:30 p.m. when Prutha was riding as a pillion passenger on a Honda Activa scooter driven by her grandfather, Ajay Ramchandra Kavimandan, aged 64, a resident of Pannase Colony, IT Park Road, Pratapnagar.
As they were on their way to drop Prutha at her dance class, an unidentified tempo driver reportedly struck their scooter from behind near Padole Chowk.
