NTPC Mouda Organised its first press meet of the financial year 2024-25 on October 16, 2024, with participation from around 30 media publications. The event commenced with a detailed presentation on the plant’s performance, followed by insights from the Environment Group and the CSR Department. A special highlight was the screening of the “GEM” movie, highlighting NTPC’s impactful CSR initiatives.
In his address, Shri D.R. Dehuri, Head of Project at NTPC Mouda, shared the remarkable achievements of NTPC and highlighted the company’s significant role in the power sector, particularly with its recent venture into nuclear power plants. He emphasized NTPC’s strategic goal of becoming World’s largestpower company, with plans to increase its installed capacity from over 76 GW to 130 GW by 2032, along with generating 600 billion units (BU) through a diversified fuel mix.
Mentioning about NTPC Mouda, Shri Dehuri highlighted the plant’s emphasis on safety first, noting that more than 12,00 workers had undergone safety training. He also discussed the “No Work, No Supervisor” policy, designed to strengthen safety and operational excellence at NTPC Mouda. Shri Dehuri proudly mentioned the numerous accolades NTPC Mouda has received for its exceptional performance and commitment to sustainability.
Concluding his address, Shri Dehuri expressed his gratitude to the media representatives for attending the press meet, acknowledging their role in fostering transparent communication between NTPC Mouda and the public.
