The results of the prestigious Gondwana Club elections, declared late on Saturday night, confirmed the continued dominance of the present governing body. Vaibhav Rai emerged as the top vote-getter with 581 votes, followed closely by Jatin Kale with 575 votes and Parth Majumdar with 541 votes. Priyam Daga secured 509 votes, while Abhishek Thakur garnered 440 votes. Rahul Agrawal and Shekhar Kharabe, however, were defeated, with 294 and 382 votes respectively.
From the very first round, the top five candidates established their lead and maintained it throughout the election. According to the club’s election rules, the top five candidates form the new governing body. As a result, Jatin Kale has been appointed President, and Parth Majumdar will continue in his role as Treasurer. Vaibhav Rai, Abhishek Thakur, and Priyam Daga will serve as Committee members.
The election process was overseen by Election Officer Nikhil Padhye, ensuring a free and fair atmosphere. Noted builder and CREDAI office-bearer Anil Nair, along with Adv. Pradip Agrawal, lent their support to the winning group.
The final tally of votes was as follows: Vaibhav Rai – 581, Jatin Kale – 575, Parth Majumdar – 541, Priyam Daga – 509, Abhishek Thakur – 440, Shekhar Kharabe – 382, and Rahul Agrawal – 294.
