The National Medical Commission (NMC) has instructed medical colleges to submit detailed information on students admitted to first-year MBBS programs for the 2024-25 academic session. This data must be submitted through an online portal available at nmc.org.in by November 8, 2024.
This directive aligns with NMC’s goal to enhance transparency and accountability in medical education. Each college will receive a unique login ID to submit the required student admission details.
Admissions for the 2024-25 MBBS program must comply with the National Medical Commission Act, 2019, and the National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test (NEET) guidelines set by the Graduate Medical Education Regulation 2024. Colleges are further required to meet specific parameters, including sanctioned intake capacity, eligibility, age limit, qualifying marks, and adherence to common counselling protocols.
