Bollywood superstar Salman Khan has received another death threat, with an unidentified individual demanding a ransom of ₹2 crore. The threat, reported to the Mumbai Traffic Police, warned of dire consequences if the amount is not paid, prompting authorities in Worli to register a case and initiate an investigation.
This incident follows the recent arrest of Shaikh Hussain Shaikh Mausin, a 24-year-old vegetable vendor from Jamshedpur, who sent a separate threatening message through the Mumbai Traffic Police’s WhatsApp helpline, demanding ₹5 crore. Additionally, Mumbai police on Tuesday detained a 20-year-old from Noida, Uttar Pradesh, for allegedly issuing a death threat to Salman Khan and NCP leader Zeeshan Siddique.
Khan has previously been targeted by the Lawrence Bishnoi gang, which issued a ₹5 crore threat. Although the sender later claimed it was a mistake, concerns were heightened after suspected members fired shots outside the actor’s Bandra residence in April.
In response to these ongoing threats, Salman Khan’s security has been considerably tightened to ensure his protection.
