Congress leader and Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi will be in Maharashtra on November 6 as part of his campaign tour. Gandhi’s visit will begin with his participation in the “Samvidhan Samman Sammelan” in Nagpur. Later in the day, he will travel to Mumbai to join Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) leaders in announcing a set of campaign guarantees for the upcoming Maharashtra elections.
According to Maharashtra Congress President Nana Patole, the Mumbai event will feature the coalition’s senior leaders, including Nationalist Congress Party (SP) chief Sharad Pawar and Shiv Sena (UBT) president Uddhav Thackeray. “Rahul Gandhi will address the Samvidhan Sammelan in Nagpur before heading to Mumbai, where he, along with Sharad Pawar and Uddhav Thackeray, will release the MVA’s key guarantees for the state,” said Patole.
The announcement of MVA guarantees in Mumbai is expected to showcase a united front, underscoring the coalition’s priorities and proposed solutions for Maharashtra’s most pressing issues as the state heads into election season.
