Nagpur is set to host Haematocon 2024, the prestigious annual conference of the Indian Society of Haematology and Blood Transfusion (ISHBT), marking the first time the event will be held in the city. The 65th edition of the conference will take place from November 7 to 10, 2024, at Hotel Centre Point, Ramdaspeth. The inauguration ceremony is scheduled for Thursday, November 7, at 4:40 p.m. in Hall A of the hotel.
The organizing committee includes Organizing Chairman Dr. S.B. Kane and Organizing Secretary Dr. A.K. Ganju. The event’s patrons are Dr. Shobha Grover, Dr. Dilip Gohokar, Dr. Anand Pathak, and Dr. Avinash Pophali, while advisors include Dr. A.V. Shrikhande, Dr. Ulhas Jaju, Dr. P.P. Joshi, Dr. Deepty Jain, Dr. Sushil Mandhaniya, and Dr. Amol Dongre. Joint Secretaries Dr. Nishad Dhakate, Dr. Rahul Arora, and Dr. Vishvdeep Khushoo are coordinating the event.
The Scientific Committee is chaired by Dr. Sarmila Chandra, with Dr. A.K. Ganju as Organizing Co-Chairman. Key members include Dr. P.K.
