Nagpur: With Maharashtra’s Legislative Assembly elections approaching on November 20, Nagpur Rural Police have implemented drone surveillance across all six constituencies in the region. This measure, aimed at preventing illegal distribution of cash and liquor to influence voters, will continue until election day.
The state will conduct elections in a single phase across Maharashtra, including Nagpur, with vote counting set for November 23. Through aerial monitoring, the police are working to detect and respond swiftly to any suspicious activities, reinforcing efforts to uphold a fair and transparent electoral process. Authorities have emphasized that these precautions are part of a comprehensive strategy to ensure adherence to election laws.
