The Maruti Suzuki Dzire is the top-selling compact sedan in India. While the sedan has been available for some time, it was due for an update. Maruti Suzuki has now confirmed that the 4th-generation Dzire will be launched in India on November 11.
Bookings for the Honda Amaze rival, the Maruti Suzuki Dzire, are now open, with interested buyers able to prebook their cars through the Maruti Suzuki website or any dealership. The company has also revealed the mileage figures for the Dzire, making it an even more appealing option. In addition, the Dzire has undergone testing by Global NCAP, where it earned praise for its safety features. Despite past criticism of Maruti Suzuki’s build quality, particularly due to low GNCAP ratings, the Dzire has excelled. It received a full 5-star rating for adult occupant protection and a 4-star rating for child occupant protection in the latest crash tests.
Maruti Suzuki claims that the new roof design of the Dzire has contributed to a lower drag coefficient, improving its fuel efficiency. The car now offers a claimed mileage of 24.79 kmpl with the manual gearbox and 25.71 kmpl with the AMT transmission. The CNG variants are expected to deliver a mileage of 33.73 km/kg.
