The district now has 21 more polling centers, bringing the total number of polling stations to 4,631.
The race for the Assembly elections has started, and the political atmosphere is heating up. The administration is also in full preparation mode, with most of the necessary processes nearly complete.
The district has 12 assembly constituencies, and the voter count has risen to 45.25 lakh. Previously, the administration had designated 4,610 polling booths, but 21 new centers have now been added. Kamptee and South-West constituencies each received six additional centers, bringing the total polling booths to 530 in Kamptee and 384 in South-West.
East Nagpur has gained four additional constituencies, and North Nagpur has added one. In Hingna, four more polling booths have been set up, with two of these located in new areas, while the remaining booths are within the same buildings as before.
