To ensure smooth voting for the upcoming Assembly elections, the district administration has deployed 4,621 Booth Level Officers (BLOs) to distribute voting slips to each registered voter. This initiative aims to increase voter turnout by helping voters easily locate their names on the voters’ list and access their designated polling stations on Election Day.
Each BLO is assigned to specific voting centers for slip distribution. District Collector and Election Officer Dr. Vipin Itankar has advised voters who have not yet received their slips to contact the election helpline at 7757988898. Dr. Itankar also warned that complaints about non-delivery of voting slips will result in disciplinary action against the responsible BLOs.
Voting is scheduled for November 20, and all voting slips are to be delivered to enrolled voters at least 48 hours before the election. Voters are advised to verify their information, including their names, EPIC number, Assembly constituency, mobile number, and residential address. Additionally, voters can download their voting slips using their EPIC and mobile numbers through the voter helpline.
