The Weaves India Cotton & Silk Exhibition, featuring handcrafted cotton, silk, and handloom products from master artisans across India, is underway at the South Central Zone Cultural Centre (SCZCC), Civil Lines, opposite the MLA Hostel. The exhibition, which began on November 8, will run until November 18, and is open daily from 11:00 am to 9:00 pm.
The expo has received a tremendous response from city residents. With 80 stalls featuring products from different states, visitors can purchase authentic and exclusive items directly from the artisans at the lowest prices. The exhibition not only provides a platform to explore unique craftsmanship but also supports artisans from across the country.
The exhibition features a wide array of products, including silk and cotton sarees, dress materials, suits, stoles, dupattas, kurtas, kurtis, fashion jewelry, and home décor artifacts. Highlights include:

Uttar Pradesh’s Lucknow Chikan, Jamdani, and Banarasi Silk, Madhya Pradesh’s Chanderi and Maheshwari Silk, Gujarat’s Patola, Bandhani, and Kutch Embroidery, Rajasthan’s Bandhej, Block Print, and Sanganeri Print and Karnataka’s Bangalore Silk and Printed Crepe
