Archana Rote (50, sister of Mahayuti candidate from Dhamangaon Railway constituency Pratap Adsad was stabbed by two unknown attackers around 9 pm in Monday. The incident occurred when Archana was returning to Dhamangaon from Ghuikhed in a car. The attackers also damaged glass panes of the car.
Archana received injuries on her hand when the attackers stabbed her thrice, when she came out of the car for some reason. The driver and other accompanists were in the car. The attackers fled the site after the attack. She was rushed to a hospital in Chandur Railway. Pratap Adsad rushed to the site on getting information about the attack.
A large number of workers gathered at Chandur Railway to enquire about her health. Police are investigating further.
