Mumbai: The State Bank of India (SBI) unveiled its latest initiative to combat the rising threat of cyber scams by launching a cybersecurity awareness booklet titled “Be Scam Safe”. The launch took place during the 11th SBI Banking and Economics Conclave 2024 on November 18.
Shri M. Nagaraju, Secretary, Department of Financial Services (DFS), Ministry of Finance, officially launched the booklet, which has been compiled by SBI to educate individuals about the increasing prevalence of cyber scams.
The booklet offers practical safety tips and actionable insights to help individuals recognize and avoid potential cyber threats. SBI’s initiative reflects its commitment to enhancing public awareness about digital security in an era of growing cybercrime.
The bank encouraged citizens to utilize the resource to stay informed and safeguard their personal and financial data.
