After Devendra Fadnavis emerged victorious from Nagpur South-West, BJP’s Mohan Mate from Nagpur South was leading after the third round by securing 14,414 votes against Congress candidate Girish Pandav who received 8706 votes.
In Nagpur East BJP’s Krishna Khopde was way ahead of his nearest rival Duneshwar Pethe of Congress and Independent Abha Pande. Khopde was at 11,187, while Pandav at 3,308 and Abha Pande at 2350 after the second round of counting.
BJP’s Pravin Datke at 12,432 was leading over Congress candidate Bunty Shelke (9479) and Independent Ramesh Punekar (7136) in Nagpur Central after the third round of counting.
Congresss candidate Vikas Thakre had secured a lead of about 3.500 votes by securing 20,487 votes against BJP’s Sudhakar Kohale who received 16,900 votes after fourth round of counting.
In Nagpour North reserved constituency for SC Dr Nitin Raut of Congress was at 16,753, while BJP’s Dr Milind Mane was at 13,422. Manoj Sangole of BSP was way behind at 3555 after the fourth round.
KAMPTEE: Surprisingly BJP State Chief Chandrashekhar Bawankule was trailing in Kamptee constituency against Congress candidate Suresh Bhoyar. Bawankule had secured 24,831 votes against 30,398 by Bhoyar after the fifth round of counting.
RAMTEK: A tough contest is being observed in Ramtek, where Ashish Jaiswal of the Shiv Sena and Congress Rebel Rajendra Mulak were at 36,380 and 32,366, respectively, after the seventh round of counting.
UMRER: Congress candidate Sanjay Meshrwam was leading with 35,820 votes and Sushir Parve of BJP at 30,227. Independent Pramod Gharde was at 26,463 votes after the ninth round of counting. The contest is tough in a three-cornered fight..
HINGNA: BJP candidate Sameer Meghe has taken a lead by securitng 43952 votes over Ramesh Bang, who got 23,685 after the seventh round of counting.
SAONER: Former Minister Sunil Kedar’s wife Anuja fielded by Congress was trailing at 23,861 votes after the seventh round. BJP candidate Dr Ashish Deshmukh secured 30,603 votes.
KATOL: BJP’S Charansingh Thakur had established lead after fourth round by securitng 27,041 votes against Salil Anil Deshmukh of NCP (SP) who got 14,268 votes. After fourth round.
