“We won the hearts of people, which were converted in votes. People voted for development. We did not reply to the criticism by the Maha-Vikas Aghadi leaders, but carried out our work on infrastructure and social development with commitment and implemented our schemes, including the works stalled by the MVA government”, Chief Minister Eknath Shinde said.
While addressing the media Shinde along with Deputy CMs Devendra Fadnavis and Ajit Pawar, the Mahayuti leaders thanked the voters. The mandate is an acknowledgment of the developmental works carried out during the last two years by the Mahayuti, Shinde said.
The historical results increased our responsibility. We will make all efforts to live up to the expectations of the people, Shinde said.
Shinde also said that people demonstrated which is the real Shiv Sena working on the founder Balasaheb Thackeray’s vision. They also expressed faith in the Nationalist Congress Party led by Ajit Pawar.
Fadnavis said people expressed faith in Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision for the nation and believed in the slogan ‘Ek hain to safe hain’ without referring to any caste or religion..
Ajit Pawar said the alliance took a lesson from the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, studied the drawbacks, and worked to remove them. The Mahayuti also worked on the developmental works for the people, which worked.
The three leaders said that they are not criticizing the use of EVM for election, even after losing in Jharkhand. The Opposition may level such charges after the humiliating defeat.
