The Model Code of Conduct (MCC) has been lifted in Maharashtra following the declaration of results for the 2024 General Elections to the State Legislative Assemblies and Bye-elections in various Parliamentary and Assembly Constituencies across the country, as announced by the Election Commission of India.
The MCC, which is enforced from the date of the election schedule announcement and remains in effect untill the completion of the election process, is no longer in operation as the results for these elections have been declared by the concerned Returning Officers.
The Election Commission has directed that this update be communicated to all relevant parties.
