Bawankule appreciates Eknath Shinde’s stand
Bharatiya Janata Party State Unit President Chandrashekhar Bawankule congratulated Shiv Sena leader Eknath Shinde for his decision to accept the Centre’s decision on the formation of government in Maharashtra.
Bawankule addressed a press conference in Nagpur immediately after Shinde’s press conference in Thane.
Appreciating Shinde as a bold and committed leader Bawankule said the rumours spread by the Maha-Vikas Aghadi about Shinde putting a hurdle in the formation of the government, have been refuted. Shinde declared support to the decision to be taken by BJP leaders in Delhi, Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah.
Bawankule also spoke about the commitment with which Shinde works. Under his leadership, the people in Maharashtra favoured the Mahayuti alliance in the election.
Shinde’s stand is important and an example to be followed. He is interested in working for the people of Maharashtra and not for the post. His commitment was seen while working as a minister in the Fadnavis-led BJP-Shiv Sena government. Uddhav Sena, however, betrayed the pre-election BJP-SS alliance and formed MVA with Congress and NCP. Shinde boldly left the Thackeray–led government which was deviating from Shiv Sena founder Balasaheb Thackeray’s thoughts and principles.
The decision on the formation of the government will be taken soon, Bawankule said.
