This The eagerly awaited “Road to MSLTA” tennis tournament is set to take place at the MSLTA Tennis Centre in Ramnagar on November 30 and December 1. The event will feature competitions in the Under-10 and Under-12 Boys and Girls categories, aiming to nurture budding tennis talent across Maharashtra.
Organized by the Maharashtra State Lawn Tennis Association (MSLTA), the initiative focuses on grassroots development, offering young players a platform to showcase and hone their skills.
Highlighting the tournament’s mission, MSLTA honorary secretary Sunder Iyer emphasized the importance of support and training for aspiring players to achieve success in tennis. “This event is designed to encourage participation, even from those with no prior experience,” he stated. For ranked players, only those with a maximum of 10 points in the AITA/MSLTA ranking system are eligible to compete.

Winners and runners-up will earn the chance to train with state-level coaches at a subsequent MSLTA tournament, providing a crucial stepping stone for their tennis careers.
