The internal roads in Mihan are being recarpeted, a long-awaited improvement that residents and businesses have been asking for. For years, the bad condition of the roads caused problems for daily commuters and industries in the area. Many complaints were made to the authorities due to the inconvenience caused by the crumbling roads.
According to local media reports, a Mihan resident said, “The internal roads had become nearly impossible to drive on. Even short trips felt like a challenge. We’re relieved that something is finally being done,” while sharing photos of the recarpeting work.
The recarpeting work is meant to improve the roads and infrastructure in Mihan, an area expected to become a major hub for economic and industrial growth. Residents hope this project will not only make the roads better but also attract more investment and development to the area. An IT employee, who asked to remain anonymous, said, “We are hopeful the project will be completed on time. Mihan holds great potential, and addressing its infrastructure issues is essential for realising that vision.”
Recently, the recarpeting of the Mihan bridge, which is used daily by thousands of residents and employees, was completed. While the bridge’s condition has improved, a minor accident occurred during the work, raising concerns about safety protocols. Sources confirmed that the recarpeting was fast-tracked in preparation for an expected VVIP visit to one of the central government institutes in Mihan.
